What is the significance of Janmashtami in 2022?
Shree Krishna Janmashtami is celebrated in the Bhadrapada month on the eighth day (Ashtami tithi) of Krishna Paksha, according to the Hindu calendar. In the Rohini Nakshatra, the celebration is usually held in August-September. Devotees in India, as well as in some foreign countries, commemorate Krishnashtami with great zeal and devotion. The Dahi Handi ceremony is a fascinating and vital component of Shree Krishna Janmashtami. The Dahi Handi festival portrays Lord Shree Krishna's most beloved activity, in which teams of young people create a pyramid out of an earthen pot (Handi) filled with curd (Dahi). Because Lord Krishna was born at midnight, Krishna Jayanthi is celebrated until midnight. Devotees celebrate the Dahi Handi Festival the day after Krishna Janam.
Also, several people treat this day as an opportunity to honour the triumph of good over evil.
What is the importance of Janmashtami being celebrated in the evening?
Since Lord Krishna was born at midnight, celebrating Janmashtami in the evening holds significance.

Different opinion between iskon janmashtami and smarta janmashtami in 2022?
According to the Sampradaya, Janmashtami occurs on two consecutive days. The Vaishnava Sampradaya and the Smarta Sampradaya are two of the most important sampradayas. When the Janmashtami date is common, both the Vaishnava and Smarta Sampradayas use the same date and celebrate on the same day. If the dates are not the same, the Samarta Sampradaya celebrates on the first date and the Vaishnava Sampradaya on the second.
Northern Indians observe unity, and Lord Krishna's birthday is commemorated on the same day. It is built on the ideals of ISKCON (International Society for Krishna Consciousness), a Vaishnava organisation. The majority of ISKCON devotees are also Vaishnavism devotees.
